System Design:
With over 30 years of live sound engineering and production, Tom Young started his career in the casino theater market in Atlantic City. He has worked on system design projects worldwide and has consulted on numerous sound installations. Spending over 12 years as the front-of-house engineer for Frank Sinatra, Tom is currently and for the past 14 years had the distiniction of mixing front of house for all live concerts and recording projects for Tony Bennett.
"The best designers are people with hands on experience," Young says. "Designing is not just a science using available technology, but an art. It is imperative that both the customer and the artist know that the performance venue has been well thought out, both acoustically and electro-acoustically." We believe that results constitute how you finish a project, not just the documentation of how it should work. Our attention to detail and tuning of a system is what sets our company apart from others.
Tom Young has most recently consulted on the redesign of the sound system at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and is currently on the consulting team for the new Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Queens.
